Police reveal details of stolen jewellery

POLICE have issued details about items of stolen jewellery in the hope it will provide a breakthrough in their investigations.

The jewellery came from an address in Lower Cotteylands, West Exe, Tiverton.

The items are said to be very distinctive. Four have been described: a nine-carat gold, 22-inch Figato chain, which is 11mm wide; a nine-carat gold, 9mm-wide wedding ring, sized Z+2; a nine-carat gold signet ring with a large red garnet stone in the shape of an almond; and a 14-carat gold pendant with seven Tanzanite stones.

Police have checked with local jewellers and secondhand stores, but with no success.

They want to warn anyone offered jewellery that fits these descriptions that it is likely to be stolen.
