YOUNG professionals in the city were in the spotlight at the latest meeting of the Exeter Young Business Club, XYBC.

Instead of a guest speaker, members took the stage to speak about their business and experiences, at St Olaves Hotel and Restaurant.

Five young professionals took to the stage before enjoying food and drink while networking with other members of the business community.

Speakers included James Clark, from Charles Stanley; Helen Lewis, of Francis Clark; Lisa Crockford and Caroline Thomas, of Haines Watts Forensic Accountants; Kevin Boland, of Redmayne Bentley; and Emma Green, of Rosalind James.

XYBC is sponsored by Ashfords solicitors. Membership costs £10 per year and is open to all young professionals in the Exeter area. There is no age limit, although members tend to be in the first five to 10 years of their careers.

The club's next event will be held on Wednesday, April 7.
