EXETER food producer Figgy's Puddings has scooped a top food award.

It has been awarded a Gold Star in the 2010 Great Taste Awards for its luxury, handmade Christmas pudding.

Owner Jo Richie said: "It's fantastic that our Christmas Pudding has been recognised in the highly regarded Great Taste Awards alongside so many other great products. Devon is renowned for the quality of its food and drink and we're proud to be a small part of it."
