All trains between Exeter St Davids and Tiverton Parkway have been cancelled due to flooding blocking the lines. First Great Western are advising travellers not to travel 'unless absolutely necessary'.

The disruptions to the service look set to continue for the coming days.

"All stations between Exeter St Davids and Taunton will not be served. Disruption is expected until 02:00 26/11," First Great Western said in an update on their website.

As was the case earlier this week, passengers will be ferried from Exeter St. Davids to Tiverton Parkway by bus. However, the number of busses available are limited and the availability of the service is also subject to road conditions.

The line between Exeter St Davids and Creditonis also blocked and replacement road services are taking passengers from Exeter St Davids and Barnstable.

"Train services running through these stations may be cancelled at short notice. An estimate for the resumption of normal services will be provided as soon as the problem has been fully assessed," First Great Western said.
