COMEDIAN and best-selling author Tony Hawks has just embarked on his first national tour in 10 years.

And next month he will be bringing Random Fun to Exeter Corn Exchange.

The star of hundreds of BBC Radio and TV shows including Just a Minute, I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue, Have I Got News for You, Comic Relief, and The Unbelievable Truth has had a packed and varied decade but can't wait to step out in front of a live audience again.

"I've been busy writing books, doing lots of radio shows and also scripting and producing the feature film versions of Round Ireland with a Fridge and Playing the Moldovans at Tennis," he said.

"I'll be using what's happened in my life and career as a means to go off on all sorts of stories and tangents with several new routines about my view of the world and probably a few rants. It will almost be a one man variety show as I'll be using slides, film clips and playing a few funny songs on the piano and guitar, plus of course, Stutter Rap. There will also be a good dose of audience participation and lots of improvisation and I hope that it will live up to its name and be an evening of randomness and fun."

You can see Tony in Exeter as part of his 32 date tour, on October 14.

Ticket details are available on 01392 665938.
