Rat droppings in restaurant
ENVIRONMENTAL inspectors found rat droppings and a dead rat in an Indian restaurant, a court has heard.
The eatery has been prosecuted for breaching food hygiene regulations.
The Taj Mahal and its manager Sultan Al-Mahmood, were both ordered to pay a total of nearly £7,000 in fines and costs following a court hearing.
The court said that both the company and the manager responsible for the restaurant were equally at fault.
