IF you are a carer who also does paid work, the Oxford Institute of Ageing would like to hear from you.

The insitute, based at the University of Oxford hopes to interview people for its Carers@ Work project.

Interviewees need to be looking after someone over the age of 60 and in paid employment or have in the past combined work and care for someone over the age of 60.

The researchers are interested in people's personal experience of combining paid work with looking after an older person in terms of the difficulties faced and the strategies used to create a balance.

They would also like to hear what carers think could be done to make both working and caring easier.

The project has partners in Germany, Italy and Poland and is looking for transferable, innovative solutions to help people balance care and work.

The interviews will take around an hour and will be done at a convenient time and place.
