The residents of Bronte Court presented RNLI volunteer shop manager, Margaret Eaglesham with a cheque for £140 from their annual Christmas local charity donation.

Instead of buying individual Christmas cards for each other, residents from the Exmouth retirement apartments decided to donate money to a local charity. Choosing a photo of a snowman as a design for the large scale card, residents were invited to sign and leave a donation. The choice of a local charity in December was for the launch and recovery vehicle appeal for the Shannon-class lifeboat, due at Exmouth RNLI by early 2014.
