Revised report on East Devon District Council's relocation plans
INACCURACIES in a report relating to a planning application submitted by East Devon District Council for the redevelopment of its Knowle Offices in Sidmouth prompted the publication of a revised document.
The updated, independent assessment of the economic impact of the authority's proposals to relocate from Sidmouth to Honiton has been released for public consultation.

For two weeks from today, Friday, January 18, a revised Economic Impact Assessment by Peter Brett Associates is available to view online as part of the supporting documents for the council's application to redevelop the Knowle site.
During this time people will be able to comment on the assessment, which sets out how the proposals might affect the local economy.

The council has confirmed its outline planning application for Knowle will be determined by councillors on Friday, March 1.
The revision has been made since several inaccuracies were found in the initial report, a revelation council deputy chief executive, Richard Cohen dubbed "embarrassing".
