Roads affected around the city for the duration of tomorrow's big event
The following roads will be closed at points during the day:
Bedford Street, Chapel Street and Southernhay East and West will be closed between 6.30am and 12.30pm.
High Street, Paris Street, Sidwell Street and Summer Lane closed between 8am and 1.30pm.
Pinhoe Road, from Hill Barton Road to the Mount Pleasant, Polsloe Road and Blackboy Road crossroads, closed between 8.30am and 12.30pm.
Beacon Lane (from Pinhoe Road to Harrington Lane), Blackboy Road, Chancel Lane, Harrington Lane (from Beacon Lane junction to Chancel Lane), Venny Bridge and Whipton Village Road between 9am and 12.30pm.

“i think this great west run is a right pain closing all the roads how do they think if a fire engine or any other services meant to get through the road closers (get the runners to run around the race track 50 times”
