Rob Paxton beats Mark Royal
EXETER'S Rob Paxton defeated Mark Royal by two sets to one to make it through to the Co-operative Funeral Care International Open.
Paxton came through a tight first end 8-6 before losing the second in convincing fashion 10-3.

This forced a tie-break, which Paxton sealed 2-1 to take the 96-minute long match, and the Exonia man now goes on to face the winner of the all-Scottish clash between Jonathan Ross and Darren Burnett in the quarter-finals.
It was the second time weeks Paxton has beaten Royal in a tie-break, having also overcome his fellow Englishman at the World Indoor Championships in Norfolk.
