Rob Paxton exits World Indoor Bowls Championships at quarter-final stage
Exeter's Rob Paxton was knocked out of the World Indoor Bowls Championships at the quarter-final stage as Scotland's Colin Walker beat him over two sets.
Paxton made a great start to the match going 6-2 up against his 38-year-old opponent from East Lothian. However, Walker battled back to win the first set with a single on the last end.

Number 10-seed Paxton then found himself 7-3 down in the second set, with just two ends to play. Just as he did in his second round match against Mark Royal , Paxton battled back but fell agonisingly short of forcing a tie break with the set finishing 7-7.
Walker was then knocked out by fellow Scot Paul Foster in the semi-final. Foster faces Stuart Anderson in the final at 2pm today, Sunday.
