Rob Paxton to face Ross Owen in Coperative Funeralcare Welsh Grand Prix
Exeter's Rob Paxton will take on Wales' Ross Owen in the opening round of the Co-operative Funeralcare Welsh Grand Prix on Sunday (7.30pm).
Should Exonia's Paxton beat the World No. 38, he will go on to face the winner of the clash between Mark Royal and Scott Kennedy.

Exonia’s Rob Paxton
World No. 10 Paxton beat Royal in the second round of the World Indoor Bowls Championships in Norfolk last month, only to go out in the quarter-finals to Scotland's Colin Walker.
Paxton had mixed fortunes at last year's Welsh Grand Prix, crashing out in the opening round to Mervyn King 15-5, 8-7. However, the world rankings released after the event still saw him crucially climb into the world's top 16, meaning automatic qualification into WBT ranking events.
