Runner Jo has a break for baby
OLYMPIAN Jo Pavey has announced she will not compete this year as she is expecting her second child in September.
But the 39-year-old runner has already set her sights on qualifying for the European Championships in 2014.

Jo and husband Gavin, who is also her coach and manager, have a three-year-old son, Jacob.
And now the couple, who live in West Hill, near Ottery St Mary, are looking forward to extending their family.

Jo finished seventh in the 5,000m and 10,000m at last year's Olympics – her fourth Games – but always wanted to have a second child. She said: "I'm really thrilled, we really wanted to have another child and it will be lovely to have a little brother or sister for Jacob.
"As the Olympics approached that became the main focus but we knew that after that we wanted another child.
"I'm not retiring, it just means I won't be able to compete this year. I still want to keep going.
"Having Jacob really motivated me for my running because I felt very happy in my life."
Jo gave birth to Jacob in September 2009 and qualified for the European Championships the following year.
