HAIR styles have just got bigger in an Exeter suburb.

Debra Phillips, who already has a hair salon in Heavitree's Fore Street, is expanding and taking over another salon on the same street. The new salon is larger and will be used as the main centre for Salon 34's core hair and beauty business.

The nine staff members will be moving to the new premises but Debra herself will be staying put. While her staff attend to the customers, Debra is planning to raise hairdressing standards by using the current salon as a training academy for 14-16 year olds.
