YOUNGSTERS at an Exmouth primary school donned Father Christmas outfits and took part in a charity Santa Dash.

This year the annual event, which raised £300 for Christian Aid, coincided with the Exmouth Christmas Cracker in the Strand Gardens.

Children from the Beacon School, joined runners of all ages around five laps of the gardens, which total one kilometre, and raise sponsorship for the charity.

Martin John Nicholls, from the Exmouth branch of Christian Aid who organised the event, said it was a great day for everyone.
