UPDATE: Scaffolding knocked down in Exeter city centre
UPDATE: Queen Street and Paul Street are now re-open after the earlier incident. Police advise to approach with care.
A large section of scaffolding has been knocked down in Queen Street, Exeter.

It is thought a van came around the corner of Paul Street and knocked the scaffolding and damaged a sign of the shop front of Toot Garook.
The van was also damaged in the incident.

Queen Street is currently closed as workmen try to reassemble the scaffolding. Part of Paul Street is also closed. It could take a couple of hours to reopen the area.
