School enjoys glowing reports
A SCHOOL is celebrating glowing results following two visits from education watchdogs in only a month.
Ofsted inspectors last month praised South Molton Church of England Junior School for a rise in academic standards.
And a recent visit from the Diocese of Exeter described the leadership and management as "outstanding".
Ofsted inspector Martin Kerly reported that headteacher Patricia Martin had made a real difference since joining the school last January and said her work with governors had established a "strong programme designed to raise standards".
Mrs Martin said: "We are delighted with the new report and particularly pleased that it found two key elements of our work to be outstanding."
