School toilets have CCTV
A NUMBER of Devon schools are using CCTV camera in their toilets and changing rooms.
The details were published by the Big Brother Watch campaign group following a request under the Freedom of Information Act to 2,107 schools. Among Devon schools with CCTV cameras, it claims, are Teignmouth Community College School with six cameras, Tiverton High School, four cameras, Cullompton Community College, four cameras and Exmouth Community College, three cameras.
Nick Pickles, of Big Brother Watch, said: "This research raises serious questions about the privacy of schoolchildren across Britain, with some schools having one camera for every five pupils and hundreds of schools using cameras in toilets and changing rooms."

“The perverts will probably seek jobs ' monitoring ' CCTV ... The downside here is that this will help them in target selection ...”

“You can just imagine what sort of people suggested such idea to place CCTV in changing rooms and toilets. They would have said "it's all for children's safety" Yeah right!”
