Search for driver after racist abuse on road in Axminster
Police in Devon are hunting a driver who swore at a female motorist and made racially offensive remarks. Officers in Axminster are trying to identify the driver of a red P-registered car, possibly a Peugeot, who was involved in an incident in the town on Friday evening. The driver of the car forced another driver to stop and then swore at her, making racially offensive remarks, police said. The incident occurred between 5pm and 6pm on the B3261, Trafalgar Way. The man was described as white, about 6ft in height and in his 20s. His car was said to have had a large exhaust pipe.
