Seniors' victory for Fingle Glen's Steve
STEVE Tuckett edged past Allan Jones and Brian Ridgeway on countback to win Division One of the seniors section January Stableford.
Tuckett scored 37 points for the win, while Peter Tregenna carded 41 to pip Colin Bradley and Mike Wilde by a point in Division Two.
Chris Church scored 41 points to win Division One in the midweek competition and Peter Broadbelt won Division Two with a 43.
Anne Woodger is way out in front in the ladies' Wednesday League with 20 points whereas Mary Smith leads Alison Horton and Laura Millar by just a point in the Saturday League.
The vets' stableford saw Peter Wood win Division One with a five point margin over Alan Leach. In Division Two Derek Spicer won on countback from Steve Crockford, both on 36.
Matt Baker won Division One of the weekly competition on countback from Rob Williams with 38, while Dave Dimond pipped Russell Stock with 38 points in Division Two.
Sue Broderick, Pat Harker and Tricia Clarke scored 103 points in the team yellow ball event to take first place in front of Sue Glanville, Amanda Winsor and Gina Redman.

The Greensomes Stableford competition saw T Baillie and C Gaite win with 46 points ahead of A and T Card.
In the ladies' February Stableford, J Brown-King won Division One with 37 points and E Walrond won Division Two.
Angela Battershall won Division One of the ladies' stableford on 34 points with Alison Hilton in second.
In Division Two June Skuse took the win with a score of 28 ahead of Joyce Gilg on 27, while Jill Aldworth scored 35 points to win Division Three.
Former champions Peter Boax and Mark Sangster are through to the second round of the men's Winter Foursomes after edging out Eric Cole and Steve Hosford on the 19th hole.
Club captain Colin Carey and Peter Garnsworthy were behind for most of their game against Ricky Cruse and Roy Ireland before winning on the 18th.
The 18th was also where Roger Millett and Dave Horn saw off the challenge of father and son Nick and Harry Konig.

Teenager Nicola Chilcott posted 38 points to win the ladies' rearranged January Stableford.
Shirley Ward was the overall runner-up with 37 while Sue Buchanan's score of 33 won her the Bronze Division Two prize.
In the 11-hole stableford, Chris Bacon took the honours with 22 points, while Ivy Radford came second on 18.
