Shilton's spot on at trade event
PETER Shilton was the star guest at a trade event this month – and found himself in the unusual position of taking penalties.
The former England goalkeeper attended Bradfords Trade Deal Day at Westpoint where tradesmen could meet and chat with more than 100 suppliers.
A spokesman said: "It certainly wasn't all business. There was lots of fun to be had with golf and driving simulators, a crack-the-safe game offering the chance to win £5.000 cash as well as competitions to win a holiday and a Nissan Navara car. Not only that but those attending had the chance to meet goalkeeping legend Peter Shilton, England's most capped player, where he was signing autographs and gave goalkeeping advice as visitors attempted to save one of his penalties."
