£30,000 Sky Sports' cash boost for Exeter City
EXETER City have received a cash boost with the news that their League Two fixture at home to Torquay United has been rearranged for Monday, January 28 (7.45pm) so it can be shown live on Sky Sports.
It means that, as the home side, the Grecians will receive a cash injection of £30,000 from Sky, while Torquay United will collect £10,000 for being the away team.
Speaking about the tie being picked for the television cameras, City manager Paul Tisdale, said: "I'm very pleased we have been selected, it is a little Christmas present for us.
"They (Sky) obviously thought it was an important and interesting game to have on and we hope to put on a good show.

"There is certainly a lot of football to be played between now and then, half a dozen games or so, so it is a long way off. But it should be a good advert for League Two football and Exeter City."
The St James's Park fixture was originally scheduled to be played on Saturday, January 26.
Tickets for January's Monday-night game will be available to buy on the day of the match to home fans.
The Grecians have not hosted the Sky Sports cameras for a live fixture since the 3-1 Carling Cup defeat against Liverpool in August 2011.
