Slade scores in England defeat
A TRY from Exeter Chiefs fly-half Henry Slade was not enough to help England under-20s avoid a 27-12 defeat to Ireland under-20s in the IRB Junior World Championship fifth-place play-off at the University of Western Cape, South Africa.
Leeds' Chris Walker scored England's other try in a match which also involved Chiefs youngsters Sam Hill and Luke Cowan-Dickie, plus former Exeter youth player Ryan Mills.

Tries from Barry Daly and Iain Henderson, combined with the boot of JJ Hanrahan, saw England go 17-0 down to a side they beat 20-15 two weeks ago.
Just 90 seconds into the half, England hit back through captain Walker, who was then sent to the sin bin.

Hanrahan made it 20-5, before Yarde followed his skipper to the bin and Billy Vunipola was held up on the line.
Jordan Coghlan crossed for Ireland's third try before a late England rally gave fly-half Slade the chance to touch down wide of the posts to make it 27-12.
England will now play Australia tomorrow (Friday) for seventh place, with the match again at the University of Western Cape.
