Snow-free airport runway
Most of the UK's airports have been affected by adverse weather today but at Exeter the runway has been snow-free and passengers have departed on Friday's flights to Tenerife, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Manchester.
Many of the afternoon's Exeter inbound flights have been arriving earlier than scheduled and an aircraft from Milan plans to divert to Exeter instead of using an airport further north. The afternoon flight to Jersey and Guernsey will take passengers who were unable to get there this morning because of snow in the islands.
