Commuters faced icy conditions on the outskirts of Exeter this morning as temperatures dipped below freezing.

As this pictures shows, Bovey Tracey had a covering of snow, while in nearby Moretonhampstead there were heavy snow falls.

Forecasters had issued a snow warning for the whole of the county as temperatures fell sharply.

Although it will stay cold for the next couple of days, further snow is not predicted. And forecasters claim there will be rising temperatures from Wednesday onwards.
