South Molton and District Museum could be handed back to town council
AN action plan has been created for South Molton and District Museum, covering the next five years.
North Devon Council is the body responsible for maintaining the museum and at an executive meeting members agreed to accept the plan which outlines key aims to be achieved between 2012 and 2017. The museum is currently managed by South Molton Town Council and, under the Localism Bill, could be handed back to that authority in 2013 when the Agency Agreement is reviewed.
