YOU are invited to step up to the oche to try out your skills against some of the biggest names in darts. You can play as, or against, a choice of 18 players with PDC World Championship Darts 2009 on the Nintendo DS and Wii.

On the Wii you get a feel for the experience with a natural throwing action, dart collisions and sound effects. And the action is presented in cinematic Sky Sports style, with replays, walk-ins, fly-bys and slow motion replays.

Try your luck against Phil 'The Power' Taylor, James 'The Machine' Wade and Wayne 'Hawaii 50' Mardle. Or you can customise your own male or female players. The gameplay is incredibly realistic, as each player plays to their real-life averages and has their own set of attributes including stamina, belief, coping with pressure and concentration. The game showcases tournament locations from the worldwide PDC circuit and gets you right up close to the action.
