STAFF at an Exeter cosmetics store have shown their support for the campaign against hunting.

Lush Cosmetics, which has a shop in Exeter High Street, is backing the work of the Hunt Saboteurs Association.

Customers are being asked to sign postcards to chief constables, asking them to make the enforcement of the Hunting Act a priority.

The Hunt Saboteurs Association uses video cameras to document alleged illegal hunt activity. From now until Boxing Day — the date of the biggest hunt meetings of the season — Lush is selling Fabulous Mrs Fox Bubble Bars, with all proceeds going to the association.

The pro-hunting Countryside Alliance has said it was "astonished" at the high-profile firm's support for the organisation. A spokesman said: "While we appreciate everyone has different opinions on such an emotive issues, surely there are better organisations to support?"
