Stowaway kitten finds new home after hitching a ride on the bus
The captain of a ship may expect to see a stowaway on board their vessel but a bus driver is not so prepared.
Which is why Turner's Tours driver Simon Mitchell was surprised to find a feral feline stowed away in the dashboard of his bus.

He made the discovery earlier this month after hearing strange noises while transporting passengers around Devon.
As driver on one of the Chulmleigh bus company's service routes, Simon headed out of its Back Lane depot in Exeter, before going on to Barnstaple and Bideford and then making the same trip in reverse.

Throughout the journey Simon had customers telling him they could hear crying.
He stopped several times to look around the bus but he couldn't find anything.
"Every time I stopped, the kitten stopped making a noise," he said. "I couldn't tell where it was coming from, but it had quite a voice." Eventually, after an exhaustive search which included staff taking several panels off the bus, the kitten was found curled up in the dashboard.
"I was pleased they found it, because it proved I wasn't going mad," said Simon.
Turner's Tours has now adopted the wayward cat as the office pet.
And, naturally, they have called it Lucky.
