Students get taste of Met Office life
STUDENTS from all over the country have had the chance to learn more about the way the Met Office works.
The Exeter-based weather agency in Fitzroy Road has just completed its annual work experience week. It offers young people an opportunity to see behind the scenes and work in a number of different departments – from working with the commercial team and computer scientists to the human resources and communications teams.

The Met Office was named as one of the UK's top graduate employers in a survey of more than 15,000 final-year students at over 30 universities across the UK. It employs around 1,800 people at 60 sites across the world.
