Tandy set for battle of talented youngsters
Ospreys head coach Steve Tandy is showing that Exeter Chiefs are not the only club in the LV= Cup to have a promising bunch of youngsters.
The Welsh region has been using the competition as a springboard to develop new talent for a number of seasons now, with the likes of Justin Tipuric, Ashley Beck and Rhys Webb have all going on to establish themselves as first-team players after getting their break in this competition.

Tandy is optimistic that this current bunch, who overcame Gloucester 33-26 in a thriller last time out, also have the ability to establish themselves in the future.
"The potential within this group is really positive," said Tandy.

"It could take some of these guys two years to come through, it could take others six months, but the more exposure they get at this level the better.
"We want to give our youngsters every opportunity to prove themselves.
"We really pride ourselves on our young guys. We want them to enjoy the occasion, but we've prepared for it like any other week.
"I want to win, but there's something to be said for getting these guys game time and understanding what goes into the week when you're a professional rugby player."
The Ospreys are on a fine run of form at the moment, with six wins from their last seven games.
Their only defeat during that sequence came in a Heineken Cup clash with Leicester.
Looking back on the Gloucester win, Tandy was pleased with the application and adaptation shown by his youngsters.
"I thought we managed the conditions really well, we were patient," he said. "We lacked a little bit of discipline at times, but we will take a lot from conceding those tries.
"It's a learning curve for these guys. We feel really positive about the players coming through. It was more nail-biting than I would have liked, if we had not come away with the spoils I would have been disappointed."
Tandy went on to say: "But it was testament to the maturity the guys showed to try and build for a penalty first and then to go for a try, that was the icing on the cake. I thought that they thoroughly deserved to win the game."
