Teenager admits shooting random shopper with air rifle in Exeter
A 19-year-old man has admitted that he took pot shots at several shoppers with an air rifle, hitting one of them on the shoulder at a hearing at Exeter Crown Court.
The teenager, Joshua Claxton, of Hamlin Gardens, shot at passers-by from the first floor of the Hennis Project homeless shelter in Saint Sidwells Court, King William Street.

Alan Tozer, the shopper hit by one of Joshua Claxton's shots, reported feling a sharp pain on the shoulder and had suffered from breaking and reddening of the skin and bruising.
Joshua Claxton was given a three month curfew and ordered to attend an alcohol course. They are both part of a 12 month supervision order.
