Teignmouth and Exmouth lifeboats rescue three from stricken trawler
LIFEBOATS from Teignmouth and Exmouth were launched last night after a trawler started taking in water off the South Devon coast.
Brixham Coastguard co-ordinated the operation, and the Teignmouth inshore lifeboat The Two Annes and the Exmouth all weather lifeboat Margaret Jean were launched just before 10pm to help an 8.4m trawler taking on water between Dawlish and Exmouth.

The position of the trawler was confused as the crew were unable to give accurate location information due to electrical problems.
The trawler was eventually located at 10.18pm and the crew recovered to the Teignmouth lifeboat, which had been launched first as its fast launch time and speed allowed it to reach the trawler quickly and recover the three crew.
