Tennis club holds annual meeting
Sandford Tennis Club held its AGM on 7th February.
It was reported that the club was in a good position overall and that for the next couple
of seasons, only minor maintenance would be required on the court.
Membership was somewhat down on previous years, and this was attributed both to the very poor

regular attendance of a qualified LTA Coach to teach the younger members and schoolchildren.
The court is a great asset to the village and, compared to larger clubs, the annual subs are extremely
reasonable, with plenty of court time available for those who wished to have the convenience of
playing locally with family or friends.
