"We have had help from the solicitors firm Tozers whose staff came to help decorate the shop and process stock to get us ready for opening day," Mrs Hammond said. "We have also got a tremendous volunteer staff."

The launch party, which was sponsored by Tozers LLP as part of their corporate social responsibility policy, was held on Saturday afternoon.

As well as accepting donations, the store also offers owners the chance to sell their designer clothes and split the profit 50/50.
