First to take to the stage is Sean Lock, who will be playing at the Barnfield on February 23, with Purple Van Man... A Work in Progress.
We all know what white van man thinks about the world we live in but Sean thinks its time to hear a different voice – purple van man's.
In an act filled with gags, opinions, deft observations and some silly voices, this is the comedian doing what he does best, spouting inspired jibber jabber as he crosses the country in his purple van.
The British Comedy Award winner has performed on Live At The Apollo and Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow. He has been a team captain for 14 series of Channel 4's show 8 Out of 10 Cats. And his extensive TV credits also include Never Mind the Buzzcocks, QI and Mock the Week.

The following day, February 24, Manchester-born comedian Chris Addison, brings his show – The Time is Now, Again – to Exeter Northcott.
In 1995, he won a stand-up competition and went on to perform at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where two of his solo shows were nominated for the Perrier Award, in 2004 and 2005. He starred in BBC2's Bafta-winning comedy, The Thick Of It, and in the film, In The Loop.
This stand-up show has played to rave reviews up and down the country, so much so that it has been twice extended.

More top stand-up is promised next month when Marcus Brigstocke brings The Brig Society, to the Corn Exchange, on March 6.
The award-winning comedian is a firm favourite with comedy fans and The Brig Society looks to be as sharply observant and quick-witted as his much loved catalogue of work.
It promises no less than the total restructuring of every aspect of life in Britain organised through the medium of jokes.
