The twelve finalists spent the day being put through dance moves by choreographer, Bethany Rose Harrison, and being styled by Chantelle Znideric of Topstylista Image Consultancy. Bethany Rose was a semi-finalist on the BBC show ‘So you think you can dance’.
Their hair was done by professionals at SAKs hair and beauty in Princesshay; and their make-up was done by local freelance make-up artists, Jodie from Make-up Matters and Josie Lock, Wedding Make-up Artist.
They then performed their scenes wearing clothes by Princesshay retailers, Coast, Zara, Reiss, Moss and River Island.
Evening wear:
Wayne Pearce, Princesshay Centre Director, said: “The finale was a wonderful evening. The contestants and their supporters created a great atmosphere, and the finalists strode the catwalk with real style. The judges had a hard task choosing the winners and I would not have wanted the job of narrowing it down to one male and one female! We look forward to working with Lucy and Ashley in Princesshay over the next year.”
The winners are announced:
The runners up were Lauren Hill, a hairdressing apprentice, and Luke Cole, a personal trainer. The other finalists were Emmeline Footitt, Christina Croitory, Kelly-Jade Browning, Lisa Tiffany, Austin Robison, Luke Waldron, Scott Walker and Matthew Cafaro.
The judges who chose the winners were able to offer expertise in their impressive backgrounds of beauty, modelling and styling. Paul Salmon, talent scout at modelling agency, Crazy Fish, could offer an insight in to what to look for in a potential model. Eleanor Winkler, owner of Princesshay’s stylish hair salon, Saks, was on the judging panel as was Claudia McCormack from The Cove Beauty. And, for even more style status, Chantelle Znideric gave her advice to the judges as the award-winning personal stylist and founder of highly-acclaimed TopStylista Image Consultancy. Also on board was Michelle Pugh from the Express & Echo.
