Watkins in goal prize running
EXETER City academy player Oliver Watkins has had his long-range strike against Swindon Town on Friday, January 25 shortlisted for the League Footballl Education's goal of the month prize.
The competition features the best goals from under-18 academy players at Football League clubs across England.
Watkins' goal sees him pick the ball up on the left side of the pitch before firing a 25-yard shot across the Swindon keeper and into the right corner of the goal.
LFE chief executive, Alan Sykes, said: "This competition is popular with our apprentices, clubs and the general public."
