Weekend incidents dealt with by Devon firefighters
At 9:16pm on Sunday 12th February one fire engine from Bovey Tracy attended a road traffic collision at Chudleigh Knighton involving one vehicle into a hedge at Bradley Bends.
Crews assisted by making the vehicle safe and dealing with a fuel spillage.

At 7:45pm on Sunday 12th February fire control received a call from the owner of a vehicle reporting it had caught alight as he was driving along.
One fire engine from Bovey Tracy attended the incident at Harcombe, Chudleigh
and confirmed the vehicle was well alight.
The vehicle was severely damaged by fire.

At 15:03 on Saturday 11th February fire crews from Topsham fire station attended a report of a vehicle overturned on the old A30 at Clyst Honiton.
A lorry had overturned and spilled oil onto the carraigeway, no other vehicles were involved.
Crews made the vehicle safe and washed the spillage away.

At 2:10pm on Saturday 11th February, one fire engine from Middlemoor station attended a report of a child locked within toilets at St Thomas Recreation Ground, Exeter.
The crews had to force entry into the cubicle to release the child who was unhurt. The council were dealing with repair and securing of the location.

At 6:59pm on Friday 10th February, one appliance from Exeter attended a report of a chimney fire at a cottage in Tedburn Road, Whitestone, Exeter, the crew used chimney equipment and the thermal imaging camera.
