Weekend snow possible as ice warnings issued for Devon
With temperatures set to drop this weekend the MET office has issued yellow weather warnings for ice over the weekend and snow on Saturday.
The MET office have stated that all parts of the UK will see cold weather setting in over the weekend and it could last until late January.
The Exeter-based Office has today issued a severe weather warning which covers the entire county.
The yellow graded warning has been issued for Saturday and Sunday.

A yellow warning is least severe of the Met Office's three warnings, with amber and red being used for more serious weather conditions.
The public have been advised to be aware of the risk of disruption to travel due to ice on the roads.
The MET office have release the following weather warnings for the South West:
Saturday: “Rain will turn increasingly to snow during the course of Saturday across more eastern parts of Wales and the southwest Midlands, firstly over high ground, and later to low levels. There is the potential for 5-10 cm of snow to accumulate on ground above 200 metres with localised accumulations of 2-5 cm eventually at lower levels.”
Sunday: “Outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow will gradually clear southwards on Saturday afternoon and evening. Temperatures will then fall rapidly, leading to a risk of icy surfaces.”
A Chief forecaster for the MET office said:
“At this stage the main risk area for impacts is expected to be more eastern parts of Wales and the southwest Midlands and the south may see some sleet and snow by the end of the evening.”
