Young cyclist hurt in lorry crash on Fore Street, Heavitree
A YOUNG cyclist was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries after a collision with a lorry on Fore Street, Heavitree.
The accident happened near the junction with Gordon Place, opposite the Tesco supermarket at about 3.30pm yesterday.

The bike was left mangled under the front of the yellow Volvo lorry which had 'Special Motorway Maintenance' written on its side and was carrying building materials.
The boy, who is thought to be in his early teens, was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital with injuries to his legs.

The road was closed until 4.50pm while officers carried out investigations.
