One-act plays at festival
THERE'S a great chance to see a variety of good quality drama presented by some of the leading amateur companies in Devon this weekend.
The Teignmouth Festival for one act plays will be held in the Carlton Theatre, from March 21 to 23 at 7.30pm, with a matinee on Saturday at 2.30pm.
Winners have the opportunity of going on to the next round of the All England Theatre Festival and from there the English Final is only two rounds away.
The competition has attracted lots of entries including several youth teams. The adjudicator is Sandra Wynne from North Wales who has lots of experience acting in, and managing, theatre companies.
