Two arrested after death of moped rider
A van driver and his passenger were arrested on suspicion of causing the death of a motorcyclist by dangerous driving after a head-on collision in Exeter.
The men, who are from Exeter and Exmouth and both aged 24, were held by officers following the incident on Saturday.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a tipper truck and a moped collided at Ludwell Lane at around 7.30pm.
The white Ford Transit Tipper van was travelling towards Pynes Hill and a maroon Peugeot moped was being ridden in the opposite direction, when the smash occurred.

A 20-year-old man from Exeter, who was riding the moped, was pronounced dead.
The other two men were arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, interviewed then later released on police bail until August 22.
The road was closed for nine hours by crash scene investigators.
A police spokeswoman said the man had yet to be identified and next-of-kin informed.
