Kylie Reeves , 23, of St David's Hill, Exeter, was fined £50 after pleading guilty to being in possession of 1.02g of amphetamine, a class B drug, on July 16. She will also have a pay a victim surcharge of £15 and additionally pleaded guilty to failing without reasonable excuse to surrender to the court on July 31. For this, she was fined a further £35 and the drugs will be forfeited and destroyed.

Louise Salter , 44, of Alexandria Road, Sidmouth, pleaded guilty to driving in Temple Street in the East Devon town when the proportion of alcohol in her breath was 124mcg in 100ml, exceeding the legal limit. A community order was made which will see her have to participate in alcohol-specified activity at the probation office for eight days. It also has a supervision requirement and will have to pay £85 costs. Her driving ban will be for 30 months although this can be reduced by 30 weeks if she successfully completes an approved course.

Aaron Bridle , 22, of Causey Lane, Pinhoe, admitted being in possession of 0.6g of cocaine, a class A drug, on July 22 in Victoria Way, Exmouth. He was fined £300 with a victim surcharge of £15 and costs of £85. The offence put him in breach of a 12-month conditional discharge he received last September for being in possession of a Class B drug as well as another offence of cocaine possession. The conditional discharge order was revoked and he was fined a further £350. The drugs will be forfeited and destroyed.

Arina Bukovskaja , 26, of Union Road, Exeter, drove near her home on July 22 when the proportion of alcohol in her breath was 125mcg in 100ml, exceeding the legal limit. She pleaded guilty and a community order was made which will see her have to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. She was additionally ordered to pay £85 costs and was disqualified from holding a licence for 30 months. This can be reduced by 30 weeks if she successfully completes an approved course.

Martin Lobb , 28, of Manston Road, Exeter, pleaded guilty to being in possession of 0.7g of cannabis, a class B drug, on July 21. He received a six-month conditional discharge and there was no order for costs because of his limited means. The drugs will be forfeited and destroyed.

Lewis Saunders , 21, of Lazenby Road, Tiverton, admitted assaulting a man by beating him on July 22. He received a 12-month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay £50 to his victim in compensation with £50 costs.

James Anderson , 20, of Cheriton Fitzpaine, drove a car dangerously in Rydon Lane, Exeter, on May 28. He pleaded guilty and a community order was made which will see him have to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. He will also have to pay £85 costs and he was disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence for 15 months. He will remain disqualified unless an extended test of competence has been passed. He did not face a separate penalty for using a vehicle on a road on the same date on which not every stop lamp was in good working order.

Guy Richards , 35, of Tintagel Close, Exeter, was fined £600 after an offence of failing to provide information relating to the identity of the driver of a vehicle, namely a DAF truck, who was alleged to have been involved in an offence on April 5 was proven in his absence. He will also have to pay a victim surcharge of £15 and costs of £85 while six points were added to his licence.

Lewis Arnold , 19, of Barley Mount, Exeter, rode a moped in Wardrew Road and Okehampton Road, St Thomas on June 29 when the proportion of alcohol in his breath was 55mcg in 100ml, exceeding the legal limit. He pleaded guilty and was fined £160 with a victim surcharge of £15 and costs of £85. He was also disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence for 14 months which can be reduced by 14 weeks if he completes an approved course. He additional pleaded guilty to using the moped on the same date when he had no insurance. For this, he was fined a further £100.

Michael Pring , 26, of Newman Road, Exeter, pleaded guilty to entering property near his home as a trespasser and stealing plumbing equipment of an unknown value. He received a community order which has a drug rehabilitation requirement which will be reviewed monthly. It also has a supervision requirement. The offence put him in breach of a nine-month conditional discharge he received for possession of a Class B drug and theft but no action was taken in respect of this.

Geraldine Shaw , 47, of Colleton Way, Exmouth, admitted assaulting a man by beating him on June 12. She was fined £70 with a £15 victim surcharge and ordered to pay costs of £60. No compensation was ordered as details regarding the injuries suffered by the victim were not available.

Samuel Wakefield , 20, of Kendall Close, Exeter, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour within the hearing or sight of someone likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress on July 23. He pleaded guilty and was fined £20. He will also have to pay the £!5 victim surcharge but there was no order for costs. He also admitted damaging a cell belonging to Devon & Cornwall Police with the damage valued at £34.50. Wakefield was fined a further £70 and order to pay £34.50 in compensation to the police.

Jason Munday-Aston , 25, of Smythen Street, Exeter, failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order he received for resisting a PC in the execution of his duty and failing to surrender to bail by failing to attend appointments on two occasions without providing a reasonable excuse. The order was revoked and he received a six-month conditional discharge.

Alex Amos , 22, of Parkside Drive, Exmouth, pleaded guilty to destroying a window belonging to the Grapevine public house on June 10 without lawful excuse. He received a 12-month conditional discharge and will have to pay £100 in compensation to the pub management. There was no order for costs because of his limited means. He was also found to be in possession of 0.6g of MDMA, a class A drug, on the same day. He admitted this and was fined £110 with a victim surcharge of £15.

Christopher Duran , 25, of Darwin Court, Exeter, admitted failing to comply with a no entry sign in Richmond Road on June 30. He was fined £50 with a victim surcharge of £15 and costs of £85. Three points were added to his licence.

Bradley Loughman , 49, of Park Road, Exeter, drove near his home on July 20 while disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence. He pleaded guilty and was committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months. Magistrates said the offence was serious as he had received his second disqualification and that it was recent. The suspended sentence order has a curfew requirement for three months. He was also disqualified from holding a licence for nine months. There was no order for costs.

Sam Walton , 25, Brewin Road, Tiverton, drove in Bude Street, Exeter, on June 3 after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his blood was 97mlg in 100ml, exceeding the legal limit. He pleaded guilty and was fined £180 with a £15 victim surcharge and costs of £40. He had 10 points added to his licence but was not disqualified from driving.

David Day , 23, of Hazel Road, Exeter, pleaded guilty to damaging a glass window belonging to a futon company on July 22. He was fined £200 with a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs. He will also have to pay £120 in compensation to the business. He also resisted a constable in the execution of his duty on the same date. For this he was fined a further £130.

Stephen White , 65, of Langstone Drive, Exmouth, drove near the Tesco Express in the town on July 22 when the proportion of alcohol in his breath was 86mcg in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit. He pleaded guilty and was fined £700 with a £15 victim surcharge and costs of £85. He was also banned from driving for 40 months.

James Carter , 27, of Tanners Yard, Crediton, damaged a room at the Great Western Hotel in Exeter on February 6 to the value of £718 without lawful excuse. He received a 12-month conditional discharge and will have to pay £668 in compensation to the hotel as well as £85 costs.

Tracey Gillard , 39, of West End Road, Bradninch, admitted driving in the village on April 7 when the proportion of alcohol in her blood was 87mlg in 100ml, exceeding the legal limit. She was fined £275 with a £15 victim surcharge and £85 costs. She was also banned from driving for a year, reduced by three months if she completes a driving course.
