Athletics games, activities including running jumping and throwing for children aged 4-7 or 8-11 at Exeter Arena on Mondays from 6-7pm ( sessions also available on Thursdays 5-6pm) then at end of September move back to St Peters high school, please check venue before first session. Supported by MINI - Westerly Exeter.
Cost is £6 per session or £5.50 for a block or 4 or more weeks. First session come and have a run around for only £2.

Mini Athletes is open to children aged 4 to 7 and Juniors is from 8-11. The aim is to provide year round activities developing co-ordination, balance and fitness through, sprinting, throwing and jumping activities and through games and other related activities.

We believe that there is a great opportunity for young children to experience activities and games that can lead into any sport. Athletics forms a large part of fundamental movement skills and can help with physical development and co-ordination – whilst having lots of FUN!

We use a sticker book to mark activities and cover a wide range of activities.

The majority of Athletics clubs start at age 8 or older and so Mini Athletes provides the oppportunity to have some structured activities for younger children and on reaching the appropriate age (if they are ready and interested) we then support a managed transition into our junior section and then on to the nearest local athletics club.

Regular sessions are being held Mondays at 6pm -7pm at Exeter Arena, Summer Lane, Exeter in the summer and we move inside to St Peters high School at the end of September.
