Call for artists to sum up the spirit of the River Exe

THERE is still time to make that piece of art, take that photo or sculpt that scene which expresses what the Exe Estuary means to you.

Artists are being encouraged to submit any form of work which reminds them of the estuary for the Spirit of the Exe Festival.

The Exe Estuary Management Partnership has organised the art competition in conjunction with the festival, which is open to everyone.

All entries will be displayed on the Exe Estuary website and at the Spirit of the Exe Festival on Saturday, August 8, at the Maer in Exmouth.

A selection will also be published in This Is Exmouth, which is supporting the competition.

Entries must be received by Friday, July 17, and there are two categories: under-14s and over-14s.
