One in nine women will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in their lifetime and to raise awareness of the disease, we are asking readers to send us messages of survival if you have had breast cancer or tributes to those who have died.
Messages can be posted, emailed or texted and will be published in the Echo on Friday, October 31.
All messages to be considered for publication must be received before midnight on October 29.
Text EX CANCER followed by your name and then your message to 65100.
Texts will be charged at your standard network rate. By using this service you are agreeing to receive occasional SMS messages from Northcliffe Media informing you of various promotions and events. You will not be charged for receiving any of these messages, and you may opt out by texting STOP back to the originating number at any time.
If you do not wish to be contacted for these purposes, send your message by email to amerritt@expressand echo.co.uk, or post it to Anita Merritt, Breast Cancer Message, Features Department, Express & Echo, Heron Road, Exeter EX2 7NF.
