Tuesday, October 06, 2009, 23:00

Crediton Saints 0 Tiverton Town 5

TIVERTON Town made it two wins out of two with a 5-0 victory at Crediton Saints.

Jack Rainey opened the scoring in the first half and, after the break, Scott McMillan crossed for Ollie Morgan to score. Lewis Fraser crossed for Rainey, Rainey completed his hat-trick and Marcus Old rounded off the victory.

West Exe Rangers 2 Crediton Youth 2

West Exe were denied victory over Crediton by a late equaliser.

Matt Barrett converted from a corner to put Rangers ahead, but Kirton levelled after half-time.

Liam Wardle scored a solo goal for West Exe, only for the equaliser to come five minutes from time.

Central Falcons 4 Feniton 1

A lightning start by Central ensured they saw off Feniton.

Travis Hudson (2), Jack Hoskins and Joe McCrea-Smith scored in quick succession before the Falcons slowed up.

Feniton scored a consolation and then had a penalty saved by Central keeper Jo Perry.

Honiton 5 Countess Wear Dynamoes 0

Countess Wear battled gamely against Honiton before going down to a 5-0 defeat.

The sides were matched until a poor pass along the penalty area was punished by Honiton.

The home side took control from then on, although Connor Fewings went close for the Dynamoes and Corey Jones impressed.

Pinhoe Warriors 0 Heavitree Comets 4

A first half double from William Gregory and two more after the break from Jonathan Kirk gave Heavitree the points at Pinhoe.

Daniel Foster was the Comets man-of-the-match.

Central Reds 3 Stoke Hill Cougars 3

Goals from Tom Hart, Joe Chamberlain and Tom McShane weren't enough to give Central a win over Stoke Hill.

The Reds were 3-1 up at one stage, but the visitors hit back to level. Their scorers were Cameron Pow (2) and Callum Oakes.

Alphington Athletic 5 Crediton Saints 4

Sam Webber scored a last-minute winner as Alphington recorded a thrilling victory over Crediton.

Dylan Thorne scored first for the Alphas, but the Saints quickly went 2-1 up before Corrie Gloyn made it 2-2 before half-time.

Crediton went back in front after the break, only for Gloyn to net again.

Sam Jarman thought he had won it for Athletic with five minutes to go, but they were pegged back again to set up Webber's moment of glory.

Culm United 5 Feniton 3

James Brown scored four goals to give Culm United victory against Feniton.

The home side fell behind twice as Tom Gurney and Tom Harrison notched for Feniton, but Brown and Tom Cole replied to make it 2-2 at half-time.

Brown scored to put Culm ahead after the break, but Fention drew level again through Josh Tree. Brown completed his hat-trick and then added another late on for Culm.

West Exe 5 Hemyock 1

West Exe had five different scorers as they built on last week's last-gasp win with another triumph. Ryan Jackson, Jack Pope, Rory Stewart, Elliot Luxton and Jordan Brooks were on target against Hemyock.

Sidmouth Town Raiders 3 Bradninch 2

Sidmouth survived a Bradninch fightback to win on Saturday.

Josh Worthington, Josh Edwards and man-of-the-match Dan Swain had the Raiders in control. Bradninch scored either side of half-time to get back in it, but they couldn't force an equaliser.

Alphington Jets 4 Pinhoe 1

An Olly Johnson hat-trick helped Alphington Jets to victory.

Johnson scored the first two goals of the match, only for Pinhoe to hit back through Owen Castle's thunderbolt.

The visitors came close to levelling, but keeper Jack Bunclark kept them at bay. Johnson and William Bentley rounded off the win for Alphington.

Heavitree 7 Feniton 1

Matt Venton's goal gave Feniton hope after they conceded two early goals, but the visitors faded in the second half.

Keeper Harry Lush made some good saves for Fenny.

Heavitree Inter 0 Stoke Hill Rangers 1

A cool finish by Jordan Sandford five minutes from time was the difference for Stoke Hill against Heavitree Inter.

Man-of-the-match Sandford ran on to Warren Hawkins' pass to net the only goal of the game.

Josh Bennett made an excellent goal-line clearance to keep the scores level in the first half.

Heavitree AC 4 Stoke Hill Rangers 1

Sandford scored again against AC, but Rangers conceded after 15 seconds and were second best for most of the match. Jack Kennedy scored the opener and further strikes came from man-of-the-match Jack Smith (2) and Kennedy again.

Heavitree AC 0 Stoke Hill Celtic 5

Joe Blackwell was the star player for Celtic in their 5-0 win, which came courtesy of goals from Ollie Evans (2) Ethan Ampadu, Joe Balkwill and Callum Whiteoak.

Heavitree's three Jacks — Smith, Kennedy and Hector — were their best players.

Heavitree Milan 0 Stoke Hill Celtic 1

John-Morgan Ross scored the only goal for Celtic against Heavitree, but only after Milan had been denied by the woodwork three times.

Jed Wright was one of the unlucky Inter players, his shot coming back off the post.
