FAIRPORT Convention, the band credited with inventing folk rock, will return to Exeter Corn Exchange tomorrow.
Fairport (pictured) were formed in 1967 and previous and past members read like a who's who of British folk music with names such as Richard Thompson, Sandy Denny, Dave Swarbrick and Ashley Hutchings all having been part of the band.

The present line-up includes original band member Simon Nicol on guitar and lead vocals. Dave Pegg who has been part of the band for 34 unbroken years is on bass and backing vocals.
The show, on March 8, starts at 7.30pm.
